Consumption model
What counts as consumption.
DataGardener MCP is sold as agent consumption delivered through MCP, not as a separate fee for 'an MCP'. Usage is measured in records, and the agent is given the tools to plan before it spends.
A company record is the unit
Tools that return company records are metered per record returned. The server reports the usage consumed with each response.
Searching and counting are light
Describe, count and knowledge-base tools exist so an agent can check scope before pulling records. Searches with small result sizes keep usage low.
Richer actions cost more
Contact reveals, enriched briefs and reports consume more than a basic record. Exact values are agreed per customer.
You control usage
Entitlements, result sizes and tool permissions in the client control what an agent can consume. Usage is visible per connection.
